The list below highlights various funding opportunities available to students during the summer. Please click on each program to learn more.
- The Undergraduate UD Anti-Racism Initiative (UDARI) Summer Scholars program provides highly motivated undergraduates in any major the opportunity to immerse themselves in a research or creative project based on race, anti-racism, or racial justice. Scholars receive a stipend of $4000.
- The Graduate UD Anti-Racism Initiative (UDARI) Summer Scholars program provides highly motivated graduate students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a research or creative project based on race, anti-racism, or racial justice. Scholars receive a stipend of $5,000.
- The CEI Summer Scholars program provides highly motivated undergraduates the opportunity to immerse themselves in a community-based research or creative project under the direction of a faculty mentor. Scholars receive a stipend of $4000.
- The CEI Summer Fellows program provides partial support for students who want to work part-time on a project and combine it with other summer activities such as coursework and/or employment. Award stipends range from $500-$3000.
- The Graduate Community Engagement Scholars program provides highly motivated graduate students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a community-based research or creative project. Scholars receive a stipend of $5,000.
Arts Bridge – History of Dance in Delaware: An ArtsBridge Fellowship will be provided to an undergraduate student who will research the history of dance in the State of Delaware during ten weeks in the summer of 2022. The Scholar will receive a $4,000 stipend.
Arts Bridge-Sustainability: To enhance the educational mission of the Center for Integrated Asset Management for Multi-modal Transportation Infrastructure Systems (CIAMTIS): Region 3, The University Transportation Center will award an undergraduate ArtsBridge Scholar Fellowship to a student who will utilize arts integration strategies to design, implement and assess curricula that combines the arts and sustainability concepts during ten weeks in the summer of 2022. The Scholar will receive a $4,000.00 stipend.
