With a recognition of the varied and dynamic needs of both the University and our community, PPE builds capacity for partnerships and fosters engagement by supporting and encouraging multiple pathways for partnerships with public education.
The Partnership for Public Education (PPE) invites members of the University of Delaware community to join a committed team of leaders seeking to strengthen public education in Delaware. PPE aims to develop and support partnerships between the University and P-12 community which increase educational opportunities, improve outcomes, and advance excellence, equity, and opportunity in Delaware schools. To help us achieve these goals and build capacity to positively impact education, PPE has established a Fellows and Mini-Grant program.
The PPE Fellowship program provides up to $10,000 funding for UD faculty or staff projects that support public education in Delaware. Fellows are supported for up to one year with funds to support either partnership or capacity building projects and will have the opportunity to participate, contribute to, and lead PPE initiatives in the future. The call for fellowship applications is released every fall for work to be completed the following year.
