A new policy brief on COVID-19 vaccine’s “A Safe & Effective Vaccine for COVID-19:  Opportunities, Challenges and an Equity Imperative” is now available.  Authored by Dr. Erin Knight, Associate Director of UD Partnership for Healthy Communities and the Center for Community Research & Service, the brief was developed with input from students who participated in an optional, extra-credit assignment in an “Introduction to Public Health” course at UD this past spring.  The brief gives valuable information about vaccine development, potential risks of fast production, and the needed attention to equity and racial justice with respect to distribution of the vaccine.  Please click here for a copy of the brief.  Readers are welcome to distribute to others who may be interested.
